Sunsets are a gentle hint to remind me to put down the to do list, take a deep breath and schedule time for myself to do something i love. The hint of light from the setting sun peeks through the distant trees and creates an orangey, yellow vertical reflection in the water. The sun lit grasses in the foreground point me back into the marsh where I choose to remain. Pastel on panel, 12x14 plus 2”black frame with gold lip.
