We had just finished a 7 mile kayak ride in one of the creeks off the Chesapeake Bay. We shared the creek with eagles, osprey and herons. Feathery clouds drifted across a clear blue sky and the sun warmed my skin. I lingered in front of these moored boats before getting out of the water - happy and grateful.
