Stories Told and Songs Sung

During the pandemic I started painting Irish landscapes inspired by a prior trip.  My hope was to recapture the joy and excitement of Ireland and to counter the trapped feelings 2020. It worked for me!  

 Now when I paint Ireland, I still feel the joy. Yet, bittersweet memories of stories told and songs sung return. I am connected to family members from my past who did the best they could with what they knew at the time… And that works for me.
