Gaelic textures

I really had fun playing with the textures in this painting of an Irish cottage by the sea. I created a rough surface and really enjoyed   applying the pastel to the sunlit side of the building, the tops of the stone fence, field and tall grasses.. Pastel on Panel, 12x16 plus 2” gold frame
