Slainte

There is something about Ireland that triggers memories of the people I have loved. This painting is a toast to two such people.

 Here’s to the head of the house with a lovely singing voice who worked too hard to support his family, and here’s to the beautiful, sensible, and stoic woman who with wit and grace nurtured 10 children into adulthood.
