The Purple Chakra
In yoga the purple is associated with among other things, intuition and spiritual healing. When I started this painting, I picked up my purple pastels and worked quickly and without thought. The yellow light peering through the trees at the top of the ridge combined with the warmed purple field is mesmerizing and my spirit is renewed. Pastel on Panel, 16x20 plus 1” beveled black Frame.
