Daisy Day
My mother’s grandchildren called her Daisy. When the first of my siblings announced she was pregnant, we asked our mom what she’d like to be called. She looked at an arrangement of daisies in a vase on the dining room table at the time. She said, “I shall be Daisy.” The grandkids loved their Daisy and many referred to her as “Crazy Daisy”.
